What we collect
Your email (for sign-in). Your goals, roadmap nodes, weekly tasks, and the answers you give in onboarding. Optional things you choose to enter — display name, timezone, voice preference. Standard server logs (IP, user-agent, timestamps) for debugging and abuse prevention.
What we don't collect
Your contacts. Your calendar. Your location. Anything from your device beyond what you type into Onward. We don't use trackers or third-party ad pixels.
How we use it
To run Onward — show you your goals, generate your roadmap and weekly chart, send you magic-link emails. We send your goal text and the context you provide to Anthropic (Claude) so it can generate your path. Anthropic doesn't train on this data — it's sent under API terms with zero data retention.
Who else sees it
Nobody. We don't sell, share, or syndicate your data. The only third parties involved are infrastructure: Supabase (database + auth), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic (AI), Resend (auth emails). All standard and necessary to operate.
How long we keep it
As long as your account exists. Delete your account from Settings and we wipe your goals, nodes, tasks, weeks, profile, and chat history. Magic-link emails are kept by Resend per their retention policy.
Your rights
See your data: it's already in the app. Export it: Settings → Export. Delete it: Settings → Delete account. Email us with anything else: hello@onward.app.
Cookies
We use a single first-party session cookie to keep you signed in. That's it. No analytics cookies, no ad cookies.
