The deal
You can use Onward to track and pursue your goals. We try to keep it working. We may make changes during beta. If we make a change that materially affects your data or how the product works, we'll tell you.
Your account
You're responsible for your account. Don't share your magic-link emails. If something looks off (a session you didn't start, an email you didn't request), email hello@onward.app and we'll help.
Your content
The goals, nodes, tasks, and chat messages you create are yours. You give us a non-exclusive license to store and process them so that we can run Onward for you. If you delete your account, we delete the underlying data within 30 days.
What we do
We use Anthropic's Claude API to generate roadmaps, weekly tasks, and recap lines. The AI is wrong sometimes. Treat its suggestions as starting points, not gospel. Don't use Onward's output for medical, legal, or financial decisions without a qualified human in the loop.
What you can't do
Don't try to break Onward, scrape it, abuse the AI quota, or impersonate anyone. Don't use it to harass others or generate unlawful content. We'll terminate accounts doing any of those.
No warranty during beta
Onward is a beta product. We provide it "as is." We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages from your use of it. For something this small and this honest, we hope that's fair.
Changes
We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect changes. Big changes get an in-app or email notice.
